MEF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing community life and enriching individual musicians through music education, chamber music, festivals and financial assistance.

Our primary services to the community are our annual MEF Band Camp and Singing with Friends, a long-term care facility vocal community singing class and concert series.
MEF supports professional musicians through several yearly performance/education events including hiring musicians for our annual Chamber Music Concert, Singing with Friends’ Concert Series, and MEF fundraising events. MEF provides summer work for 30 professional musicians through our annual band camp. If you would like to hire MEF professional musicians for a private event, please contact Carol Mellis, carolmellis@msn.com.
